Saturday at Tyler & Ann's

This morning we headed to Tyler and Ann's house as soon as the boys were up and fed.  They were both soooo excited!  Before we left Brody reminded me that, "We don't need to take any toys with us to Tyler and Ann's house because they keep some toys there for us to play with!"  He and Barrett ran straight to the toy pile when we got there...and then they headed to the Foosball table.  Tyler found some makeshift stools (aka speakers) for them to stand on and an intense game was soon underway.

Before long Julie arrived with Lauren, Katelyn, and COLLIN (yes...we can't say or spell his name in this house without extreme enthusiasm!) and then Kristan & Austin arrived.  It was hot outside (what's new?  I think it's been over 100 degrees for weeks now!) so we headed for the neighborhood pool.  Here's Austin in his cute swim hat.  I wonder what he's thinking?  It looks like my camera intrigues him.

Of course, Collin & Brody were inseperable. 

and Katelyn loved hanging out with Barrett "because he likes me"!  (I guess Bella prefers having Lauren carry her around, so Kate really enjoyed it when Barrett showed her attention.)

Back at Tyler & Ann's house I put Barrett down for a nap while the big kids played.  Austin woke up from his nap early and really wanted to join the big kids game of cards.  Can you tell from their expressions that they didn't want a baby playing with them? 

 

The girls sat around talking (guess we sat on the floor rather than the couch so we could all take turns playing with Austin?) until after 4 pm. 

 

As always, Brody and Collin were so sad to have to tell one another "bye"...but the pain of separation was eased when we reminded them that they'd see each other next Saturday for Brody's birthday!
