Bear the Hunter

Barrett has been out to the lease with Mike multiple times, but today is his first day to go deer hunting with Daddy. He was sooooo excited!! I love this picture that Mike just texted me. I hope they at least see some deer!!

Bri's 2 front teeth

Mrs. Stephanie

We know that no matter what class our children are in at church...they are being loved on and prayed over. Mrs. Stephanie (one of the ladies in the nursery) sent me this picture after church. You can see how Bri feels so safe in her arms that she falls right to sleep...practically every Sunday! Mike and I had one of Stephanie's girls in our 2 year old class a few years ago...and now she's getting to love on our little one. It won't be too many more weeks before Bri will have to move into the crawlers room...I'm trying to convince Mrs. Stephanie to move up with her ;)

"Race Car That's a Dune Buggy"

Barrett made a sign for the size of this creation. It says:
Barrett Knowlton
#25
race car that's a dune buggy

Now he's crawled inside his dune buggy with a bottle of water (in his "cup holder"), a flashlight, and the iPad. He said he has to race 150 laps.

50th day of school

Today the kids dressed up 50's style (as best as we had in the closet) in honor of the 50th day of this school year.  I snapped a quick picture of Brody and Trey before they rode their bikes to school.

Morning Smiles!

This morning I walked into the boys room very quietly to wake up Brody (trying not to wake up Barrett). I just happened to glance up to the top bunk and there was Barrett...sitting straight up in bed with a HUGE grin on his face!! He told me that he wanted to make sure he didn't miss morning devo time. I think we'd all have a better day if we woke up with this attitude!!

Canton 2013

Angela and I had so much fun spending the day together. Besides 1 time where Brianna cried for 15 minutes...she was the perfect little shopper. She even traveled well to and from Canton! The big purchase this year was Christmas decor. I got cowhide stockigs for our family and had them use a branding Iron to put our names on them. This will be our 15th Christmas together… but the first one where we have personalized stockings! I can't wait until it's time to hang them!
Angela and I also both got "Merry Christmas" signs for our front yard. It was a little awkward carrying them around. It made Angela look festive...like a reindeer!
The weather was perfect and we had so much fun talking and laughing together. I'm very blessed with a sister (in-law) who is also a good friend!
