Barrett Daniel Knowlton
Barrett has arrived. He was born at 10:05pm, weighed 7.18lbs, and was 19 inches long. He is a beautiful baby! Here are a few pics to hold you over until tomorrow. What a great day!

What a wonderful time tonight at the hospital! Brody was so happy to see his little brother. On the way home at midnight, he was sitting in the carseat talking about the night when all of a sudden he said "I need to go to sleep." and that was the last thing we heard from him.
Joan turned around and looked and he was sound asleep. We laughed because we couldn't imagine a two year old saying that!
Welcome Barrett! I asked your brother Brody "what's next" and he said "Play!"

My dogs woke me up at 1:50 AM so I had to check for pics...glad I did! He's beautiful! Great job Staci! I can't wait to hold him. Love y'all!

Somehow in my sleep-deprived state last night, I didn't even notice Barrett's middle name. I love it! I really wanted to use Daniel too, in honor of Grandpa, but it just didn't go with our last name. Barrett Daniel is a name that he will be proud to share with Grandpa and his uncle Tyler. Hope you guys are all doing well this morning!

Thanks Mike and Staci for naming Barrett DANIEL. Dan would have been so happy. He was so elated and honored when Tyler was named Tyler DANIEL. I have always told Tyler that he had the ultimate example to follow and he has done that and Dan would have been so pleased with his accomplishments. I am sure Barrett will do the same. Staci, not only was your granfather named Daniel, but your great and great-great grandfathers were named Daniel.
Heard about his birth last night at 10:30, but was just too tired to look, and was too busy today to get to look til now.........he was certainly worth the wait! What a precious little boy....Brody has some competition! Congratulations all three of you!!
Thanks for the encouraging words and the advise! I found myself taking tests every day around Father's Day, hoping to have a surprise for all of the men in my life, and when those didn't turn up +, I wanted it to be plus by a few days later, in time for Mitch's b-day, or our anniversary a couple of days after that. I'm trying to control myself a little better now.
