Today is the funeral for Mike's dad. It's going to be a tough, long, emotional day. When trying to pick some music for the service, we decided to see if we could get Daddy Steve to record Brody singing Jesus Loves Me. I doubt there will be a dry eye in the chapel when we play this song.

Brody kept asking me why I was crying when Dad played it for me. He is so sweet!

Brody was very focused and really wanted to do a good job recording the song. I was very proud of the way he wanted to make it good for Grandpa Jim.

Brody sang so well and I know that Grandpa was happy to hear that sweet voice. I am sure there will not be a dry eye at the funeral. I just started bawling when he said "goodbye Grandpa Jim, I love you". I am praying for all of you. I know how difficult this day will be.

I know that this is such a hard day for you, but there is comfort in knowing that so very many people from all around the country are praying for all of your family today (and over the past few days). We are there with you in our thoughts.
