Christmas in Temple

This morning Daddy Steve, Namaw, the boys, and I went to church with Grandmommy.
When we got home from church Caleb & Audria and Tyler & Ann were waiting at Grandmommy's house for us!  Brody was very excited to see his Aunt Ann.
Before long, all the girls ended up in the living room...
and the boys/kids migrated outside to play ball.

It looks like the game was intense at times.  It's funny to look at all the different people in this picture.  Obviously Jesse is trying to tag Mike (Tyler must be his back up).  Brody looks like he was trying to slide into first base in the background...and Caleb in the far back must have been the one that threw the ball to Jesse.
Jayma sat on the sidelines just watching.
Barrett takes a little while to wake up from his nap some days.  Today he just wanted to be held.  Daddy Steve was happy to take a break from all the action and hold him.
Time for a family picture!!!  Bryan and Brady were at a wedding today.  We missed them!

Daddy Steve suggested a different pose for our family picture...
Caleb didn't like the fact that I looked taller than everyone else...and he took me and Tyler down!
Daddy Steve and Cindy grew up in the house where Grandmommy still lives.  When they were playing tag and chasing each other around this tree as young kids, I bet they weren't thinking about how they'd be standing under the same tree one day holding their grandchildren!
Not only did we celebrate our Savior's birth today, we also celebrated the birth of McKenna and Jayma!  McKenna was super excited about her cake (she got to decorate it with sprinkles and poured 1/2 the can of sprinkles on top...basically all in one mound! lol)

Jayma was less enthused about her cake.  Jesse had to almost force her to take a bite!  There was no way she was gonna put her hands in there and grab a bite for herself!
Next came the chaos of Christmas presents for the kids.  It's so fun to watch their excitement as they open a new gift!
The traditional photo of me and Ginger.  She hasn't shrunk...I was wearing boots and she had on flats.  I felt tall!!!
We headed for home around 7:30 pm.  As always, we had fun seeing all our Temple family...and the visit was much too short!

Two things:
1. Did you take the last picture yourself? If so, your self-portraits have risen to an all new level.
2. Love the picture of Caleb taking you and Tyler down. That is the one I would frame and put on the wall. What fun!

I'm so glad you got these pics! I felt bad because I didn't take very many. We really enjoyed the visit & can't wait to see y'all again.
