Christmas Day 2010

This morning the boy were super excited to see that Santa Claus left them a present by the fireplace!  Before we opened any presents, however, we started off the morning in our traditional way.  We had a yummy breakfast and then we had a family devotional together...just a time to praise God for the wonderful gift of his son, Jesus Christ.
When it was time to open presents, the boys were super excited to see that Santa left them Nerf guns!
Brody with a farm set from Grammy.
I think this Christmas should be called "The Year of The Guns".  The boys got a lot of things to shoot this year.  Brody and Barrett each picked out a gun from Tractor Supply to give each other this year.

They also got a gun pillow from Caleb and Audria and a Nerf bow and arrow from Tyler and Ann (along with a deer to shoot!)

GG, Daddy Steve, Namaw, Caleb, Audria, Tyler, and Ann all came over for lunch today.  They boys were spoiled with a few presents from everyone and we sat around talking well into the afternoon.

When everyone headed for home, we put the boys down for a nap and got to work packing for a big family vacation.  Tomorrow we leave for Red River, New Mexico with Daddy Steve, Namaw, Caleb, Audria, Tyler, and Ann.  It's gonna be a fun week....but we have a lot to accomplish before we can pull out of the drive in the morning!  Better get back to packing!

Cindy - SORRY!!!!!! It's been crazy around here this past week. Brody's been sick (fever since Wednesday night). LOTS of posts are coming your way. I'm trying to get all the Red River trip posts done so I can start posting about current life again! Love you :)
