It can happen anywhere
"While I was going poop...I gave my life to Jesus!" Barrett just told me. I asked him what he said and he replied, "I just told God that I really love him and that I want to give my life to Jesus."
I know he only understands God and faith as a 5 year old mind can comprehend...but I am so thankful that my savior has captured the heart of my little boy! I know God is going to do great things through Barrett.

Love Pats
Brianna got a shot at the doctor this morning and it's made her kinda fussy. When I put her to bed tonight she didn't go to sleep right away and instead was crying. Brody stopped me as I was standing up to go back to her room and said, "Can I go pat her for you?" So I watched through the monitor as he want back there to try to calm down his little sister. First he climbed up the side of the crib so he could lean over and smell her diaper. When it didn't smell bad, he climbed back down and leaned over the side patting her bottom and saying a quiet "shhhhhhh". He stayed back there with her for about 10 minutes. She'd be quiet until he tried to leave the room. He finally gave up and came out and told me it was my turn. He's gonna make a good daddy some day!

Cuddle Time!
Brody gave Brianna her bottle this morning while I made scrambled eggs and oatmeal for the boys. He was so excited when she wanted to cuddle after she finished her bottle. Can you tell she loves her big brother?!?

Sleeping Baby Girl
Bri usually falls asleep in her bed...so tonight I was soaking in every second of my little girl sleeping on my shoulder. It was hard to put her in bed! I could've held her all night!

Bright Sun
I was complaining to Namaw and Audria today during "cousin pool time" about Brody's raccoon eyes. He wears sunglasses all the time and has such a dark tan that he's starting to look like a raccoon! Namaw suggested that I get him tinted goggles for the pool and thought that might decrease the white space. I already had some, so I dug them out of the pool toy bin and gave them to Brody. We looked at him a few minutes later to see that he had on BOTH the goggles and the sunglasses! He said that he liked the goggles keeping the water out of his eyes, but they weren't dark enough so he needed the sunglasses too!! Oh boy. What have we started?!?

Be still my heart...
I never want to forget.
Early morning cuddles are one of my favorite things. Some day this little boy won't come walking sleepily out of his room wearing his Superman jammies, carrying his teddy bear, and looking for his Daddy (hoping he got up early enough to see him before he leaves for work). I want to remember this sweet moment.

Knee Slapper!
If you live in America, you've probably heard of Duck Dynasty. We love the show...but some people don't. If you don't think it's funny...just watch it with Grandmommy, Sharon, and Sheila! They were laughing so hard they were crying! They were SERIOUSLY slapping their knees while they laughed (both of them at the same time)! They were all commenting and laughing so loud that I was thankful Grandmommy had closed captioning turned on...otherwise I wouldn't have known what they were saying on TV! It was an awesome ab workout!

Grammy & the kids
We were so happy that Grammy got to come spend the weekend and help with Barrett's birthday party! I feel like it should be getting easier to get a picture of the kids with her...but it's hard to get 3 kids to look at the camera and smile at the same time!
