Where's Barrett?!?
I walked into the boys' room this morning to wake Brody up for school. Barrett has been waking up when I wake Brody up lately (he says it's because he doesn't want to miss out on the morning devotional). When I walked in I noticed that no one was in the top bunk! Where had Barrett gone?! He wasn't sleeping on the floor, he wasn't in the guest bedroom, he wasn't in the bathroom, he wasn't in the living room...where was he?! I went back to the room to wake up Brody and ask him if he knew where Barrett was...and it was then that I found this. So sweet!!!

The love of a brother
Barrett walked into my room this morning just as I was about to leave for the gym. He was crying about his arm hurting. I ended up giving him some Tylenol and a Flaxseed pillow that had been in the freezer so that he could wrap it around his arm. Then I carried him back to his bed and tucked him in, however, he was still crying. I tried to calm him down and I told him that I would come back and check on him in half an hour when I got back from the gym. Then a small voice from the bed next to him said, "It's okay Barrett I'll be here with you while mom is gone." Brody then crawled over to get in bed beside his little brother. He cuddled up behind him and it was shhhhing him and said, "I'll tell you story. You want me to tell you a story?"

Our Boys
Here are more of the pictures I took of the boys the other night. I'm using a few of them to make a collage for our Christmas cards this year. I know I'm their mama...but I think they're the most handsome boys ever!
